Booking Terms & Conditions

Please do read these carefully as being a very small company we stick to these booking conditions rigidly , they are not just ‘small print’

Places are strictly limited and are sold on a first come first served basis, we are sorry that places cannot be reserved without payment.

Booked at our Standard Course Fee:

  • Places are confirmed on receipt of a 50% deposit, with the balance due 8 weeks before the course start date.
  • The deposit and balance payments are non-refundable but If we are able to re-sell your place in the event of your cancellation, you will receive a full refund, less a £25 administration fee.
  • Should you find that you are unable to make the dates that you have booked we will help you to transfer the course fee or deposit you have paid to another course subject to the following conditions:
    • Please try to give us as much notice as possible, if you are unable to attend your course. We must receive notice in writing or by        e-mail to studio@norfolkpaintingschool.com before (not on) the start date of your course to be offered a transfer to a later date, otherwise your course fee will be forfeited in full.
    • We will only transfer your course ONCE, to an alternative course date, or an alternative course (should your first choice not be available), within six months after your original course start date, subject to a place being available.
    • In the event of your alternative course having a higher fee than your carried forward balance, you will need to pay the difference to confirm your new booking.
    • If you are unable to attend any alternative course or course dates we can offer, then your course fee will be forfeited in full.

Booked at our ‘Pay Now’ Price:

  • The course fee is charged in full at the time of booking, and is strictly non-refundable, BUT should you find that you are unable to make the dates that you have booked we will help you to transfer the course fee you have paid to another course subject to the following conditions
    • Please try to give us as much notice as possible, if you are unable to attend your course. We must receive notice in writing or by        e-mail to studio@norfolkpaintingschool.com before (not on) the start date of your course to be offered a transfer to a later date, otherwise your course fee will be forfeited in full.

Please note:

  • The Pay Now price cannot be applied retrospectively to existing bookings.
  • The Pay Now price is not available on every course date and can be withdrawn or changed at any time with no notice, by The Norfolk Painting School.

General Terms & Conditions

  • We reserve the right to cancel any course at any time and should we need to cancel a course for any reason you will of course receive a full refund.
  • We will not be responsible for any advance costs you may have incurred e.g. travel or accommodation.
  • We reserve the right to substitute the tutor with no notice should illness make this a necessity.
  • We strongly recommend that you take out appropriate travel insurance to cover your course fee in the event that you cannot make your course. For example weather, illness, family bereavement
  • Course fees do not include accommodation or transfers to / from the School

We accept all major credit and debit cards, (except Amex) If you wish to pay direct to our bank the details are as follows,

ACCESS

  • We welcome students with limited mobility; the School is accessible for wheelchair users. Please call to discuss your specific needs. The teaching studio is fitted with a classroom amplification system.

LUNCHES

  • We provide a light buffet style lunch each day, please note that we are unable to cater for any specific dietary needs such as Gluten or Dairy intolerances.
  • Should you need a special diet we would encourage you to bring your own packed lunch in a sealed container which we will happily keep in the fridge for you until lunch time, unfortunately we do not have facilities for students to warm up lunches.
  • Tea, Coffee and water are readily available at each break

WHAT THE COURSE INCLUDES

Courses include, all materials you need for and on the lessons, plus loan of all appropriate studio equipment; brushes sketchbooks, colour wheels, aprons etc

You are welcome to keep any work you originate at the School, and should plan to transport several paintings home varying in size from 9″x 11″ up to 30″ x 20″, you should bring old newspapers or something similar to protect your car. If you have travelled by public transport we are happy to Fedex your work back to you at cost.

Depending on the course you may also be given printed notes to refer to in your studio.
